Discovering Justice has a “once in a lifetime” opportunity for a Boston Marathon runner to benefit not just one, but two meaningful causes! In memory of Lu Lingzi, the 23-year old Boston University graduate student killed in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, her parents have established a family foundation.
As part of the fundraising awareness for the Lu Lingzi Family Foundation, the family has received 2014 Boston Marathon bibs and Discovering Justice, in a coordinated fundraising effort, is looking for 1-2 individuals to run in her memory in the 2014 Boston Marathon on Monday, April 21, 2014.
Each runner must raise at least $5,000, which will go to the Lu Lingzi Family Foundation; any additional funding will support Discovering Justice. After signing up on CrowdRise, Discovering Justice’s Communications and Marketing Manager will provide help with fundraising (including creating a profile and fundraising campaign).
If you are interested, email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Monday, February 3. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thank you so much!
