Join with K-12 students and teachers across Massachusetts this May and June in Discovering Justice’s Civic Superhero Contest.
Click here for the lesson and contest info: Civic Superhero Contest.
The slideshow introduces students to the idea of civic responsibility, shows relevant examples, and explains details of the project.
We know you have been working diligently at meeting the needs of your students and adjusting to online platforms. We hope this project offers to engage your students in a new and positive way.
The Civic Superhero Contest will help your students learn about and showcase civic responsibility in a time of need. Students will identify a person or group in need and a way to offer help or support. Working together in a group or by themselves, students will capture their project in pictures or on video for Discovering Justice to recognize them as a Civic Superhero.
Student submissions and permission forms are due to Discovering Justice by June 19th. Teachers and students have the chance to win an Amazon gift card!
We want to engage as many students across Massachusetts as possible so please share this contest with your educator colleagues!
