This spring, 29 teams of Massachusetts middle school students in Discovering Justice’s Mock Appeal Program have been meeting weekly with volunteer Legal Mentors to explore the law, justice system, and appeals process.

From May 22nd through June 6th, these students, now ‘student attorneys,’ will argue a First Amendment case before appellate panels in courthouses across the state at Mock Appeal Final Events!
