This spring, 29 teams of Massachusetts middle school students in Discovering Justice’s Mock Appeal Program have been meeting weekly with volunteer Legal Mentors to explore the law, justice system, and appeals process.

Between May 22nd and June 6th, these students, now student ‘attorneys,’ will argue a First Amendment case before appellate panels in courthouses across the state at Mock Appeal Final Events. View 2024 Final Event dates and venues.
